Description
Cathepsin D is secreted as a precursor protein, but it is processed in the cell to producethe mature form.
Specificity
This antibody recognises Cathepsin D, a lysosomal protease found in very lowconcentrations in normal cells. Species: Human. Others not tested.
Application Notes
Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections. Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections: 1/50 - 1/200, Trypsinisation may be required. Recommended Positive Control: Liver. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
