Specificity: This antibody reacts with a monomorphic determinant of human class II HLA DQ moleculesand strongly blocks cytotoxicity. Distribution studies suggest that it is directed against DQrather than DR antigens. Clone SPV-L3 has been reported to inhibit the activity of cytotoxicT cell clones. Removal of sodium azide is recommended prior to use in functional assays. Species: Human and Pig. Others not tested.

Application Notes: Flow cytometry. Immunoprecipitation. Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Concentration: 1.0 mg/ml

Buffer: PBS with 0.09% sodium azide as preservative and 1% BSA as stabilizer.

Storage: Store the antibody at 4-8°C for one month or at -20°C for longer. This product should bestored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
