Isotype IgG2b
Specificity This antibody is specific to Human CAK (CDK-activating kinase) a 40 kDa protein.
Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic.
Purification Supernatant
Alternative Name CDK7 (CDK7 Antibody Abstract)
Background CDK7 is cdk activating kinase associated with the 34 kDa cyclin H protein, and a 36 kDa unnamed protein. CDK7/cyclin H is an integral part of the general transcription factor complex TFIIH, hence is important for activated transcription of polymerase II-dependent promoters and DNA repair. CDK7 is nuclear at all stages of the cell division cycle, except for mitosis indicating that its activity is required for key CDKs operating in distinct cell cycle phases.Synonyms: 39 kDa protein kinase, CAK1, CDK-activating kinase, Cell division protein kinase 7, P39 Mo15, STK1, TFIIH basal transcription factor complex kinase subunit
