Background Gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) receptor is a protein of 54-60 kDa. GnRH receptor contains seven hydrophobic transmembrane domains connected by hydrophilic extracellular and intracellular loops characteristic of G-protein coupled receptors. GnRH stimulates the gonadotrophs of the anterior pituitary to secrete luteinizing hormone (LH) as well as follicle-stimulated hormone (FSH). The receptor contains of seven hydrophobic transmembrane domains connected by hydrophillic extracellular, and intracellular loops characteristic of G-protein coupled receptors.Synonyms: GRHR, GnRH-R, Gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor

Application Notes Immunohistochemistry on Frozen Tissues. (Conditions described by customer: use antibody at 8 μg/mL for 60 min at RT. Staining offormalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 1 mM EDTA, pH 8.0, for 10-20 min. ,followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. ). Western Blot. ELISA. Flow Cytometry.
Other applications not tested.
