Immunogen
Human Cathepsin G: Purified from human neutrophils.
Description
Cathepsin G is a serine protease, it consists of a single polypeptide with a molecularweight of 30 kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE. Its substrates are collagen andproteoglycans.
Specificity
Gives a single arc when tested by IEP against human Cathepsin G. Identity has been confirmed by double diffusion(Ouchterlony) against human Cathepsin Gand a known anti-human Cathepsin G.
Application Notes
Suitable for use in Western blotting (1/500 for detection of 2 g Cathepsin G Antigen). Suitability for use in rocket IEP, Immunohistochemical procedures and enzyme-linkedimmunosorbent assays has not been assessed but use in such assays should notnecessarily be excluded. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
