Description
Gross Cystic Disease Fluid Protein-15 (GCDFP-15) is a 15 kD monomer protein. Gross cysticdisease of the breast is benign premenopausal disorder in which cysts are predominant. These cysts appear to be formed from excessive apocrine cystic secretions, one of which isGCDFP-15.

Specificity
This antibody is specific to 15 kD monomer protein called Gross Cystic Disease FluidProtein-15 (GCDFP-15). Gross cystic disease of the breast is benign premenopausal disorderin which cysts are predominant. These cysts appear to be formed from excessive apocrinecystic secretions, one of which is GCDFP-15. This antibody can be used in for the staining ofbreast carcinoma, salivary duct carcinoma and apocrine epithelia. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic. Species: Human. Others not tested.

Application Notes
Immunohistochemistry: 1/10-1/20 in an ABC method. Incubation period: 60 minutes atroom temperature. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigenunmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Skin. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
