Immunogen
A synthetic peptide derived from the N-terminus of human XRCC3 protein.
Description
XRCC3 is essential for repairing the double strand DNA breaks by homologousrecombination between sister chromatids. It is homologous to Rad1. Five humanhomologues of RAD 51, XRCC2, XRCC3, RAD51B, RAD51C, RAD51D, interact amongthemselves to form one big complex or several smaller complexes.
Specificity
This antibody reacts with a 32 kDa protein, known as XRCC3(X-Ray Cross Complementing 3). Cellular Localization: Nuclear, cytoplasmicSpecies: Human. Others not tested.
Application Notes
Western Blot: 1: 100-500. Immunohistochemistry on paraffin embedded sections: diluted of 1: 25-1: 50 in an ABC method (30 minutes at room temperature)Recommended Positive Control: TestisOther applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
