Application Notes
ELISA: To detect hMCP-4 by direct ELISA (using 100 l/well antibody solution) this antibodycan be used at a concentration of 0.15 - 0.30 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatiblesecondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2 ng/well of recombinant hMCP-4. Western Blot: To detect hMCP-4 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at aconcentration of 0.1 - 0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagentsthe detection limit for recombinant hMCP-4 is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing ornon-reducing conditions. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Human macrophage/monocyte chemotactic protein 4 (MCP4) is a member of the b-chemokine family (C-C) of Cytokines. Like Eotaxin, MCP4 is a powerful eosinophil chemo-attractant. Additionally, like MCP3, MCP4 elicits chemo-attraction of monocytes and T lymphocytes.Synonyms: C-C motif chemokine 13, CCL13, CK-beta-10, MCP4, Monocyte chemotactic protein 4, NCC-1, NCC1, SCYA13, Small-inducible cytokine A13
