Pepsin [Porcine Stomach].
Specificity
This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by amulti-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchangechromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Biotin,anti-Goat Serum as well as purified and partially purified Pepsin [Porcine Stomach]. Cross reactivity against Pepsin from other sources may occur but have not beenspecifically determined.

Application Notes
Suitable for Immunoblotting, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunomicroscopy as well asother antibody based assays using streptavidin or avidin conjugates requiring lot-to-lotconsistency. Recommended Dilutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Pepsin in astandard capture ELISA using Peroxidase Conjugated Streptavidin and ABTS(2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes atroom temperature. A working dilution of 1: 3,000 to 1: 15,000 of the reconstitutionconcentration is suggested for this product. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
