Additional Information

Characteristics Synonyms: Urea amidohydrolase
Alternative name Urease
Swiss-Prot P07374
Immunogen Urease [Jack Bean].
Specificity This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by amulti-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchangechromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc againstanti-Peroxidase, anti-Rabbit Serum as well as purified and partially purified Urease [JackBean]. Cross reactivity against Urease from other tissues and species may occur but have notbeen specifically determined

Application Details

Application Notes suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA, Immunoperoxi-dase electronmicroscopy and Immunohistochemistry as well as other peroxidase-antibody basedenzymatic assays. Recommended Diutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Urease [JackBean] in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS(2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes atroom temperature. A working dilution of 1: 500 to 1: 2,000 of the reconstitutionconcentration is suggested for this product. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Concentration 10.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm)
Buffer 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2 containing10 mg/ml Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA, IgG and Protease free) as stabilizer and 0.01%(w/v) Gentamicin Sulfate as a preservative.Label: Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP).Reconstitution: Restore w
Storage Store vial at 2-8°C prior to restoration. For extended storage add glycerol to 50% and thenaliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Centrifuge product if not completely clearafter standing at room temperature. This antibody is stable for one month at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: One year from despatch. Caution: Do Not Use Sodium Azide as Preservative.
