Western Blotting (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA)
    Specificity
This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by a delipidation and defibrination. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against purified and partially purified Glutamine Synthetase [Microbial]. Cross reactivity against Glutamine Synthetase from other sources is unknown.
    Purification
    Delipidation and Defibrination.
    Immunogen
    Glutamine Synthetase [Microbial].

  • Application Notes
Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA, Immunoprecipitation and mostimmunological methods requiring high titer and specificity. Recommended Dilutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 μg of GlutamineSynthetase [Microbial] in a standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated AffinityPurified anti-Goat IgG [H&L] (Rabbit) and (ABTS(2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes atroom temperature. A working dilution of 1: 5,000 to 1: 50,000 of the reconstitutionconcentration is suggested for this product.
    Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
