Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections) (IHC (fro)), Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections) (IHC (p))
    Characteristics
Molar Ratio: 10-20 BAC molecules per Goat IgG molecule.
    Purification
    Preadsorption: Solid phase absorption
    Immunogen
Human IgG, IgA and IgM whole molecules
  • Application Notes
Immunoblotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunomicroscopy as well as otherantibody based assays using streptavidin or avidin conjugates requiring lot-to-lotconsistency. Recommended Dilutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 μg of Human IgG in a standard capture ELISAusing Peroxidase Conjugated Streptavidin and ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) as a substrate for 30 minutes at roomtemperature. A working dilution of 1:20,000 to 1:80,000 of the reconstitutionconcentration is suggested for this product.

    Other applications not tested.
Otimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
    Restrictions
    For Research Use only
  • Reconstitution
Restore with 1.0 mL deionized water or equivalent.
    Concentration
    2.0 mg/mL
    Buffer
    0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2, 0.01 % (w/v) Sodium Azide, 10 mg/mL BSA (IgG and Protease free)
    Preservative
    Sodium azide
    Precaution of Use
WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
    Handling Advice
    Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
    Storage
    4 °C/-20 °C
    Storage Comment
Prior to reconstitution store at 2-8 °C. Following reconstitution store the antibody undiluted at 2-8 °C for one month or (in aliquots) at -28 °C for longer.
