Invertase [Candida]
Description
Invertase hydrolyses the terminal non reducing beta D fructofuranoside residues in beta Dfructofuranosides. It is the enzyme that bees use to convert nectar into honey. Industrialand confectionary applications use yeast invertase to split sucrose into fructose andglucose and also to improve the shelf life of food products.
Specificity
This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum. Assay by Immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Biotin,anti-Goat Serum as well as purified and partially purified Invertase [Candida species].
Application Notes
This product has been assayed against 1.0 µg of Invertase in a standard capture ELISAusing Peroxidase Conjugated Streptavidin and ABTS(2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes atroom temperature. A working dilution of 1/4,000 to 1/20,000 of the reconstitutionconcentration is suggested for this product. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1/5,000-1/25,000Western Blot: 1/500-1/3,000Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
