Glucose Oxidase [Aspergillus niger].
Description
Glucose Oxidase is widely used for the determination of glucose in body fluids and inremoving residual glucose or oxygen from foods and beverages. Glucose Oxidaseproducing moulds such as Aspergillus and Penicillium species are used for the biologicalproduction of gluconic acid. CATALYTIC ACTIVITY: Beta D glucose + O2 = D glucono 1,5 lactone + H2O2.
Specificity
This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum. Assay byimmunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase,anti-Goat Serum as well as purified and partially purified Glucose Oxidase [Aspergillusniger].
Application Notes
Suitable for use in Immunoblotting (1/1,000-1/5,000, Western or dot blot), ELISA(1/4,000-1/20,000), Immunoperoxidase Electron Microscopy and Immunohistochemistryas well as other peroxidase-antibody based enzymatic assays. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
