Availability
Immunogen PHA activated human lymphocytes. Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse NS1 myeloma cell line.
Clone A1
Isotype IgG1
Specificity This antibody binds to the Human CD39 cell surface antigen. This antibody has been shown to block MHC independent target cell recognition by hapten-specific CTL. SM1101A is recommended for this application (See Scholzen, A. et al. for details).
Purification Affinity chromatography on Protein G
Alternative Name CD39 / ENTPD1 (ENTPD1 Antibody Abstract)
Background CD39 is a 70 - 100kD molecule expressed on peripheral blood B cells, monocytes and T cell clones. CD39 is also weakly expressed on granulocytes. CD39 has intrinsic ecto-ATPase activity. Expression is induced on T cells and increased on B cells as a late activation antigen.Synonyms: ATPDase, Ecto-ATP diphosphohydrolase, Ecto-apyrase, Ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 1, Lymphoid cell activation antigen, NTPDase 1
Gene ID 953
NCBI Accession NP_001091645
UniProt P49961
Research Area CD Antigens, Surface Receptors of Immune Cells
Application Notes Flow cytometry: neat - 1/8, use 10 μL of the suggested workin dilution to label 10^6 cells.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
