Immunogen Human erythrocytes.
Clone BRIC-126
Isotype IgG2b
Specificity This antibody recognises the CD47 cell surface glycoprotein.
Purification Affinity Chromatography on Protein G.
Alternative Name CD47 (CD47 Antibody Abstract)
Background CD47 is a heavily N-glycosylated 47-52kD molecule. CD47 is expressed on all cells and tissues so far examined, although expression is reduced on erythrocytes of the rare Rh null phenotype.Synonyms: Antigenic surface determinant protein OA3, IAP, Integrin-associated protein, Leukocyte surface antigen CD47, MER6, OA3
Gene ID 961
NCBI Accession NP_001768
UniProt Q08722
Research Area CD Antigens, Surface Receptors of Immune Cells
Application Notes Flow Cytometry: Use 10 μL of 1/10 diluted antibody to label 10^6 cells in 100 μL. Immunoprecipitation. Immunohistochemistry on Frozen Sections.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Concentration 1.0 mg/mL
Handling Advice Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Storage 4 °C/-20 °C
Storage Comment Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8 °C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20 °C for longer.
