Immunogen Platelet plasma membrane. Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells from the SP2/0 mouse myeloma cell line.
Clone PM6-13
Isotype IgG1
Purification Affinity chromatography on Protein A
Alternative Name CD61 / ITGB3 (ITGB3 Antibody Abstract)
Background CD61 is expressed on platelets and megakaryocytes in association with CD41, and on endothelial cells, monocytes, platelets and osteoclasts in association with CD51. CD61 is a receptor for fibrinogen, fibronectin, vWF, vitronectin and thrombospondin. This clone inhibits platelet aggregation and activation induced by thrombin and collagen.Synonyms: GP3A, GPIIIa, Integrin beta-3, Platelet membrane glycoprotein IIIa
Gene ID 9606
UniProt P05106
Research Area CD Antigens, Surface Receptors of Immune Cells
Pathways
Application Notes Flow cytometry: 1/100 - 1/200, use 10 μL of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100 μL. Immunoprecipitation. Western Blot. Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections. Recommended positive control tissue: Bone marrow. Removal of sodium azide is recommended prior to use in functional assays.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Restrictions For Research Use only
