Additional Information

Alternative name CD61 / ITGB3
UniProt P05106
Immunogen Platelet plasma membrane. Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells from the SP2/0 mouse myeloma cell line
Cross-Reactivity Human, Monkey
Isotype IgG1
Clone PM6-13
Description CD61 is expressed on platelets and megakaryocytes in association with CD41, and on endothelial cells, monocytes, platelets and osteoclasts in association with CD51. CD61 is a receptor for fibrinogen, fibronectin, vWF, vitronectin and thrombospondin. This clone inhibits platelet aggregation and activation induced by thrombin and collagen. Alternate Names: Integrin beta 3 chain.

Application Details

Application Notes Flow cytometry: 1/100 - 1/200, use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunoprecipitation. Western Blot. Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections. Recommended positive control tissue: Bone marrow. Removal of sodium azide is recommended prior to use in functional assays. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Concentration 1.0 mg/ml
Purification Purified
Buffer PBS, pH7.4 containing 0.09% Sodium Azide
Storage Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf Life: one year from despatch.
Research Area CD Antigens, Surface Receptors of Immune Cells
Restrictions For Research Use only
