Immunogen Synthetic peptide GQRDpSSYpYWEIEAS coupled to glutaraldehyde.
Clone P5338 (DPR-2-2A-3A)
Isotype IgG1
Specificity This antibody recognises activated Raf-1, binding to the phosphorylated serine residue at position 338. The antibody binds to Raf-1 that has been activated by Ras or Src, but not to unactivated Raf-1. The antibody does not bind to Raf peptides phosphorylated at other sites, including Y341 and S339.
Purification Affinity chromatography on Protein G
Alternative Name RAF1 (RAF1 Antibody Abstract)
Background Synonyms: C-RAF, RAF proto-oncogene serine/threonine-protein kinase, Raf-1, cRaf
Gene ID 5894
NCBI Accession NP_002871
UniProt P04049
Research Area Signaling, Kinases/Phosphatases
Pathways MAPK Signaling, RTK Signaling, TCR Signaling, Fc-epsilon Receptor Signaling Pathway, Neurotrophin Signaling Pathway
Application Notes Western Blot: 1/100 - 1/1000, This antibody may be used for Western blotting detection of activated Raf-1 as described by Mason et al. (1999).
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
