Immunogen NS-O cells transfected with human CD20. Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse myeloma cell line NS1.
Clone AT80
Isotype IgG1
Specificity SM2154F recognises the human CD20 cell surface antigen, a glycoprotein of 35-37 kDa.
Purification Affinity Chromatography on Protein A.
Alternative Name CD20 (MS4A1 Antibody Abstract)
Background The CD20 antigen is expressed during pre-B-cell development. The CD20 antigen is present on both resting and activated B-cells but is lost prior to terminal B-cell differentiation into plasma cells. The CD20 Molecule is thought to have a possible involvement in ion transport.Synonyms: B-cell marker, B-lymphocyte antigen CD20, B-lymphocyte surface antigen B1, Bp35, Leu-16, MS4A1, Membrane-spanning 4-domains subfamily A member 1
Gene ID 931
NCBI Accession NP_068769
UniProt P11836
Research Area Cancer, Hematopoietic Progenitors, Hematopoietic Stem Cells, Adaptive Immunity, CD Antigens, Surface Receptors of Immune Cells
Application Notes Flow Cytometry: Use 10 μL of neat-1/10 diluted antibody to label 10^6 cells or 100 μL whole blood.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
