Immunogen Recombinant fusion protein of full length human A20

Isotype IgG1
Purification Affinity Chromatography on Protein G
Alternative Name TNFAIP3 (TNFAIP3 Antibody Abstract)
Background NF-kB (nuclear factor kB) regulates the expression of a large number of genes that play critical roles in apoptosis, viral replication, tumorigenesis, various autoimmune diseases and inflammation (1). The zinc finger protein A20 (2) is a tumor necrosis factor and interleukin 1 (IL- 1)-inducible protein that negatively regulates NF-kB gene expression. A20 inhibits NF-kB dependent gene expression by interfering with a novel TNF-induced and RIP- or TRAF2-mediated pathway that is different from the NIK-IkB kinase pathway (3). A20 is expressed at low levels in most organs, the highest expression levels being in lymphoid tissues. (4). Recently, it has been shown that A20 protein level is increased in lung neutrophils after (product citation 1).
