Immunohistochemistry with formalin-fixed paraffin embedded tissues: 4-7 μg/mL Antigen retrieval: Steam slides in 0.01 M sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0, at 99-100 °C for 20 min. Remove from heat and let stand at room temperature in buffer for 20 min. Rinse in 1x TBS with Tween (TBST) for 1 min. at room temperature. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. Further Comments: This product was originally produced by MBL International.

The Neuropeptide FF 2 Receptor (NPFF2/HLWAR77/NPGPR) is a neuropeptide receptor GPCR. This receptor has high affinity for NPAF and NPFF, and is also weakly activated by FMRF-amide (Phe-Met-Arg-Phe-amide) and a variety of related peptides. The receptor is expressed in brain regions associated with opiate activity, consistent with the pain-modulating activity of these peptides, and in adipose tissue, suggesting other physiological and pathophysiological activities for FMRF-amide neuropeptides. Two isoforms are produced by alternative splicing.Synonyms: G-protein coupled receptor, G-protein coupled receptor 74, GPR74, NPFF2, NPFFR2, NPGPR, Neuropeptide G-protein coupled receptor
