Description
Angiostatin is a proteolytic fragment that comprises the first four kringle domains of the ~85 kDa plasminogen. Angiostatin reduces endothelial cell proliferation and acts as an potent inhibitor of angiogenesis and tumor growth.
Specificity
This antibody detects recombinant human angiostatin. This sequence is 95% and 84% conserved in rat and human angiostatin, respectively
Application Notes
Western Blot: 2 ug/ml, detects a 50 kDa protein representing recombinant human angiostatin. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
