Immunogen Synthetic peptides of amino acids 66-81 and 135-151 of human INHAT-1Remarks: Sequence homology is 100% in mouse and rat.
Characteristics Synonyms: I-2PP2A, TAF-I, PHAPII, IGAAD, Phosphatase 2A inhibitor I2PP2A, Template-activating factorI, Inhibitor of granzyme A-activated DNase
Purification Protein G Chromatography
Alternative Name SET / I2PP2A
Background INHAT (inhibitor of acetyltransferases) complex binds to histones and masks them frombeing substrate for acetyltransferase. Endogenous INHAT subunits, which include theSet/TAF-Ibeta oncoprotein, associate with chromatin in vivo and can block coactivatormediated transcription when transfected in cells.
Gene ID 6418
UniProt Q01105
Application Notes Western blot: 1.0 - 2.0 ug/ml. Recommended positive control: Jurkat. An ~37 kDa band is observed. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Liquid
Buffer PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide and 0.1 mg/ml BSA
