Immunogen Synthetic peptide corresponding to 361-372 of human c-IAP1
Purification Protein G Chromatography
Alternative Name IAP1 / BIRC3
Background The inhibitor of apoptosis (IAP) family of proteins regulates programmed cell death triggered by various stimuli. All IAPs have at least one baculovirus IAP repeat (BIR) motif that is essential for their anti-apoptotic activity. c-IAP1 and c-IAP2, that are closely related mammalian members of the inhibitor of apoptosis protein (IAP) family originally identified in baculoviruses. Alternate Names: BIRC3.
UniProt Q13489
Research Area Apoptosis/Necrosis
Application Notes Western Blotting (1-2 ug/ml). Recommended positive control: Human lung. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
