Specificity
This cocktail antibody reacts with an immediate early and early CMV antigens. The antibody stain infected cells giving a nuclear staining pattern with an immediate early and an early antigen. In Western blot, DDG9 reacts with 76 kD protein, where as CCH2 reacts with a 43 kD protein.

Application Notes
Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:10-1:25 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Enzymatic predigestion of paraffin embedded tissues is recommended prior to the immunostaining. Positive Control: Infected lung. Cellular localization: Nuclear
