Additional Information

Alternative name CD68
Immunogen BALB/C mice were injected with Gaucher cells.
Format Supernatant
Isotype IgG3 kappa  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone PG-M1
Specificity This antibody reacts with a glycoprotein of 110 kD, expressed as intracytoplasmic molecule. It stains macrophages in a wide variety of tissues. Myeloid precursor cells and peripheral granulocytes are negative. The PG-M1 differs from EMB11 (CD68) because of its non-reactivity with granulocytes and their precursor cells.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:10-1:40 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Enzymatic predigestion with proteolytic enzymes is recommended for paraffin embedded tissue sections. PG-M1 is not recommended for frozen sections or cell smears. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Cell membrane
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as tissue culture supernatant containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
