Additional Information
| Alternative name | CD8 |
| Immunogen | Synthetic peptide comprising of 13 C terminal amino acids of the cytoplasmic domain of CD8 molecule. |
| Format | Supernatant |
| Isotype | IgG1 kappa (Matching secondary antibodies) |
| Clone | 144B |
| Specificity | This antibody reacts specifically with a 32 kD protein similar to CD8 molecule. This antibody stains cytotoxic/suppressor T cells and shows a staining patterns similar to clustered CD8 monoclonal antibodies. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 60 minutes at room temperature or overnight at 40 C. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Cell membrane |
| Concentration | 100ug/ml approximately |
| Buffer | This antibody is supplied as tissue culture supernatant containing sodium azide as preservative. |
| Storage | Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label. |
| Research Area | CD Antigens |
| Restrictions | For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union |
