Specificity
This antibody reacts specifically with B cells at the pre B cell stage. It stains majority of acute leukemias of precursor B cell type, B cell lymphomas and some myelomas. The mb-1 polypeptide along with B29 polypeptide forms an antigen receptor complex on the B cell performing signal transaction and phosphorylation functions.

Application Notes
Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:15-1:30 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30-60 minutes at room temperature or overnight at 40 C. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Cell membrane
