Specificity
This antibody recognizes a glycoprotein of 110 kD molecular weight present on human platelets and also reacts with megakaryocytes and megakaryoblasts. The antigen is also present on endothelium and osteoclasts. The glycoprotein IIIa molecule produced by endothelium cells is identical in sequence to platelet glycoprotein IIIa.

Application Notes
Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. This antibody is not compatible with Zenker and B5 fixed tissues. Enzymatic predigestion of paraffin embedded tissues is recommended prior to the immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Cell membrane
