Additional Information

Alternative name CD106
Immunogen Raised against stimulate HUVEC cells.
Format Supernatant
Isotype IgG1  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone 1-G11B1
Specificity This antibody is specific to 110 kD membrane associated protein, identified as vascular cell adhesion molecule (VCAM-1). The ligand for VCAM-1 is VLA-4 (CD49d/CD29, alpha 4 beta 1 integrin subunits). CD106 is present on activated endothelial cells, tissue macrophages, dendrite cells and bone marrow fibroblasts. The CD106 antigen mediates melanoma adhesion to endothelial cells and may be involved in the metastatic spread of tumor.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. This antibody is recommended for frozen tissue sections only. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Cell membrane
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
