Additional Information
| Alternative name | CD3 |
| Immunogen | Purified CD3 epsilon gamma delta/CD3 omega |
| Format | Supernatant |
| Isotype | IgG1 (Matching secondary antibodies) |
| Clone | F7-2-38 |
| Specificity | CD3 is first detectable in early Thymocytes and its appearance probably represents one of the earliest signs of commitment to T cell lineage. In cortical Thymocytes, the antigen is predominantly present as an intracytoplasmic constituent. This antibody labels CD3 epsilon and is useful tool for the identification of T cells and related neoplasms. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:10-1:25 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30-60 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. High temperature treatment of formalin-fixed tissue sections with 1 mM EDTA buffer, pH 9.0 must be performed prior to the immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Membrane and cytoplasmic |
| Concentration | 100ug/ml approximately |
| Buffer | This antibody is supplied as tissue culture supernatant containing sodium azide as preservative. |
| Storage | Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label. |
| Research Area | CD Antigens |
