Additional Information

Alternative name Cytokeratin
Immunogen Keratin enriched preparation from cultured human epidermoid carcinoma cell line A431.
Isotype IgG1  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone C-11
Specificity Monoclonal Anti-Pan Cytokeratin (clone C-11) recognizes human cytokeratins 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 13 and 18 in immunoblotting. It is a broad-spectrum antibody, which reacts specifically with a wide variety of normal, reactive and neoplastic epithelial tissues. The antibody reacts with simple, cornifying and non-cornifying squamous epithelia and pseudostratified epithelia. It does not react with non-epithelial normal human tissues. This antibody cross reacts with a wide interspecies cross-reactivity e.g., human, bovine, rat, frog.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25 to 1:100 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Skin. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as diluted ascites containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area Extracellular Matrix
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
