Additional Information

Alternative name Cytokeratin 7
Immunogen BALB/C mice were immunized with human bladder carcinoma cell line, RT4.
Isotype IgG1 kappa  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone LDS-68
Specificity This antibody recognizes keratin polypeptide of 54 kD. This antibody reacts specifically with most simple epithelial cells but shows no reaction with epithelial cells in the intestine or stomach. Cholangiocellular carcinoma, ductal carcinoma of breast and transitional carcinoma of urinary bladder are positive but colon rectal adenocarcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma does not show any staining.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:50-1:100 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Enzymatic predigestion of paraffin embedded tissues is recommended prior to the immunostaining. Positive Control: Skin. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as purified immunoglobulin containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area Extracellular Matrix
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
