Additional Information

Alternative name CD3
Immunogen A synthetic 13-mer peptide corresponding to aa 156-168 of the epsilon chain of human CD3 protein.
Format Supernatant
Isotype IgG  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone SP7
Specificity The CD3 antigen is present on early thymocytes and mature T cells and is generally regarded as a Pan T cell marker. This antibody will help detect CD3 expression in normal and neoplastic tissues. This antibody reacts with the intracytoplasmic portion of the CD3 antigen expressed by T cells. It stains human T cells in both the cortex and medulla of the thymus and in peripheral lymphoid tissues. This antibody is suitable for staining normal and neoplastic T cells in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues. This antibody cross reacts with Human, Baboon, Monkey, Horse, Dog, and Cat.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:100 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Nuclear
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as tissue culture supernatant containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area CD Antigens
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
