Additional Information

Immunogen A synthetic peptide from N-terminus of human VEGF protein.
Format Supernatant
Isotype IgG  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone SP28
Specificity This VEGF antibody (vascular endothelial growth factor) is a homodimeric, disulfide-linked glycoprotein involved in angiogenesis which promotes tumor progression and metastasis. This antibody reacts with the 165, 189 and 121 amino acid splice variants of VEGF of human, to a lesser extent, mouse and rat.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. No pretreatment is required for formalin fixed paraffin tissue sections. Positive Control: Hemangiosarcoma. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic, cell surface
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as tissue culture supernatant containing sodium azide as preservative.
