Additional Information

Alternative name Ki-67 Antigen
Immunogen Human recombinant Ki-67 protein corresponding to a 1086bp Ki67 motif-containing fragment.
Format Ig-fraction
Isotype IgG1
Clone MB67
Specificity This antibody reacts with Ki-67 antigen associated with cell proliferation and found throughout the cell cycle (G1, S, G2, M) but absent in resting cells. This antibody is useful in the study of cell proliferation in neoplastic cell populations and with stimulated lymphocytes. It may be used in establishing the growth fraction of neoplasms.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. High temperature treatment of formalin-fixed tissue sections with 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 must be performed prior to the immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Nuclear
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as purified by protein G chromatography containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area Proliferation Markers, Cell Cycle
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
