Additional Information

Alternative name CD99
Immunogen BALB/C mice were injected with purified E-rosette forming cells from human peripheral blood lymphocytes.
Format Supernatant
Isotype IgM  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone H036-1-1
Specificity This antibody is specific to a sialoglycoprotein of 27-32 kD known as CD99 or MIC2 gene product. CD99 is expressed on the cell membrane of some lymphocytes, cortical thymocytes and granulosa cells of the ovary, sertoli cells of testis, pancreatic islet cells and some endothelial cells. Mature granulocytes express very little or no CD99.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:75 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Cell membrane
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as purified immunoglobulin fraction containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
