Additional Information

Alternative name Heregulin/NDF/GGF/Neuregulin
Immunogen BALB/C mice were injected with a recombinant extracellular domain of rat NDF protein.
Format Ig-fraction
Isotype IgG2a  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone 7D5
Specificity This antibody reacts with a 44 kD protein known as Heregulin or neu differentiation factor (NDF). Heregulin binds to e-erbB-3 and c-erbB-4 receptors on mammary and neuronal cells with low and high affinities, respectively. HRG/NDF exists in several isoforms, which are classified in two groups, alpha and beta that differ in their EGF- like domain and in receptor binding affinity. This antibody cross reacts with mouse and rat.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:50-1:100 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the end user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Prostate carcinoma. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic, intercellular spaces Other Applications: Immunoprecipitation, Western Blotting (1:100-500).
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as purified immunoglobulin fraction containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
