Additional Information

Immunogen BALB/C mice were injected with purified GP160 from cell membrane glycoproteins of fresh non-T/non-B acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells.
Format Ig-fraction
Isotype IgG1 kappa  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone SN6h
Specificity This antibody reacts with 95 kD (monomer) and 190 kD (dimer) proteins. CD105 or Endoglin is a Type I transmembrane protein, which is highly expressed on human vascular endothelial cells. It exists on an O- and N-glycosylated homodimer. Up regulation of endoglin expression has been demonstrated in tumor vasculature and proliferating cells, suggesting that it is a proliferation associated endothelial marker. CD105 binds to TGF-beta1 and beta3 with high affinity but not to TGF-beta2.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:10 -1:20 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 60 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the end user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require predigestion with Protease XXXV. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Cell membrane
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as purified immunoglobulin fraction containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area CD Antigens
