Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from the C-terminus of human Fas protein.

Specificity
This antibody reacts with a 48 kD transmembrane glycoprotein, known as CD95 (Fas). The Fas antigen is expressed on the surface of various cell types, including activated T and B lymphocytes and T lymphoblastoid cell lines. CD95 mediates receptor-triggered apoptosis.

Application Notes
Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation conditions should be determined by the user. High temperature treatment of formalin-fixed tissue sections with 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 must be performed prior to the immunostaining. Positive Control: Small intestine. Cellular localization: Cell membrane
