Additional Information

Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the c-terminus of chicken N-cadherin.
Format Ig-fraction, Purified
Specificity This antibody reacts with 120 kD protein. Cadherins are calcium dependent cell adhesion molecules, which play important role in the growth and development of cells. In adhesion junctions, cadherins are bound to beta and gamma catenins, which in turn bind to alpha catenin. Cadherins play important role in tumor invasion and metastasis. This antibody crossreacts with mouse, rat, chicken, dog, monkey and xenopus.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation conditions should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Cell membrane
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer Purified immunoglobulin fraction of rabbit antiserum against pan cadherin containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
