Description: KRT34 is a type I hair keratin. Keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible forthe structural integrity of epithelial cells and are subdivided into cytokeratins and hairkeratins. The type I cytokeratins are acidic proteins and are usually found as aheterotetramer with two molecules of a type II keratin.

Application Details

Application Notes: Immunoblotting: 1 : 2,000, ECL method. Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections: 1/200, 1h at RT. NOTE: For enhancement of cortex staining preincubate fixed sections with 0.1 Triton X-100(in PBS) for 1 - 5 min prior to first antibody incubation step. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
