Description: KRT36 is a member of the keratin gene family. This type I hair keratin is an acidic proteinwhich heterodimerizes with type II keratins to form hair and nails. The type I hair keratinsare clustered in a region of chromosome 17q12-q21 and have the same direction oftranscription.

Application Details

Application Notes: Immunoblotting: 1/2000 (ECL). Immunohistochemistry on frozen tissue: 1/200, 1h at RT. NOTE: For enhancement of cortex staining preincubate fixed sections with 0.1 Triton X-100(in PBS) for 1 - 5 min prior to first antibody incubation step. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
