Description
|
Epitope tags are useful for the labeling and detection of proteins using immunoblotting, immuno- precipitation, and immunostaining techniques. The HA tag is derived from an epitope of the influenza hemagglutinin protein, which has been extensively used as a general epitope tag in expression vectors.

Specificity
|
The antibody detects HA-tag fused to the C-terminus or N-terminus of targeted proteins in transfected mammalian cells.
|

Application Notes
|
The antibody can be used for Western blotting (1-2 µg/ml), immunoprecipitation (10 µg/ml), and localization of recombinant HA-tagged proteins by standard immunodetection methods (2-10 µg/ml) using Avidin-FITC or other tags. However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually.
