Description
ABIN133811is a useful marker for identification of murine reticular fibroblasts and fibroblast-derived fibres in all organs. It detects a hitherto uncharacterized antigen which is different from the known major components of connective tissues. ABIN133811is very suitable for studying the micro-anatomy of various organs. The antigen is a cytoplasmic product. It is not laminin, collagen type I - IV, fibronectin, heparan sulfate proteglycan, entactin or nidogen. The possibility that the recognized epitope may be part of reticulin, cannot be excluded. The antigen is found in the cytoplasm of fibroblast cell lines. The antigen is expressed in connective tissues which form a supporting network between cells of all organs tested so far. Thus, the supportive mesenchymal structures of larger vessels can be studied. In the spleen, a very clear delineation of the red and white pulp is obtained. Capsule, sinuses, follicules, paracortex and medullary cords are also clearly delineated in lymph nodes. Frozen sections of murine organs or, used in vitro, permeabilized fibroblast cell lines.

Storage
2. Make aliquots for deep freezing (shock freezing with dry ice / acetone or with liquid nitrogen) at 70°C, or store the stock solution in the original vial at 4°C. Pipette under sterile conditions and never let the stock solution stand for long at room temperature. Do not keep working dilutions.
