Clone PM6-13
Isotype IgG1
Characteristics The antibody detects: Human CD61
Purification Purified
Alternative Name CD61 (ITGB3 Antibody Abstract)
Background CD61 is the integrin 3 subunit, a 105 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on platelets, megakaryocytes, and endothelial cells. Integrin 3 associates with gpIIb (CD41) to form the CD41/CD61 complex that mediates platelet adhesion and aggregation. CD61 also associates with CD51 to form the V3 vitronectin receptor.
Research Area CD Antigens, Surface Receptors of Immune Cells
Application Notes Working Dilution:
FACS: 1 µg/10^6 cells
Representative data are included in this product insert.

Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
Sample Volume 1 mL
Restrictions For Research Use only
Buffer Product is supplied as 0.1 mg purified immunoglobulin in 1.0 mL of phosphate buffered saline containing 0.1 % PBS / NaN3 and a stabilizing agent.
Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
Handling Advice Each reagent is stable for the period shown on the bottle label if stored as directed.
Storage 4 °C
