Immunogen Sea urchin (Lytechinus pictus) sperm axonemal proteins.
Clone D66
Isotype IgG1
Specificity Recognizes all mouse brain beta tubulin isoforms (beta and beta subpopulations), and sea urchin beta 2 tubulin.
Cross-Reactivity Mouse (Murine), Chlamydomonas reinhardtii (C. reinhardtii), Cow (Bovine), Dog (Canine), Hamster, Rabbit, Rat (Rattus), Sea Urchin
Characteristics Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic
Purification Protein A purified.
Alternative Name TUBB / TUBB5
Background Tubulin is the major building block of microtubules. This intracellular cylindrical filamentous structure is present in almost all eukaryotic cells. Microtubules function as structural and mobile elements in mitosis, intracellular transport, flagellar movement, and in the cytoskeleton.
