Additional Information

Immunogen Synthetic peptide: DYDYLNDWGPRFKKLADMYGGGDD conjugated to KLH, corresponding to amino acids 889-912 of Chicken N-Cadherin (cdh2).
Cross-Reactivity Chicken, Goat, Hamster, Human, Mouse (Murine), Rabbit, Rat (Rattus), Sheep (Ovine), Xenopus laevis
Isotype IgG1
Description Mouse monoclonal [CH - 19] to pan Cadherin - Plasma Membrane Marker. Background: This product is useful for the detection of members of the cadherin family or genetically engineered proteins containing the C-terminal cadherin tail, and for demonstration of adherens type cell-cell junctions regardless of their cadherin type.
Specificity Reacts with all cadherins. Cross Reactivity: Cross-reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat, Cat, Chicken, Cow, Dog, Goat, Guinea Pig, Hamster, Pig, Psammoys (sand rat), Rabbit, Sheep, Snake and Xenopus. Not yet tested in other species.

Application Details

Application Notes IF: Use at a dilution of 1/500 using cultured MDBK cells. IHC-P: Use at a dilution of 1/500. Perform enzymatic antigen retrieval before commencing with IHC staining protocol (Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections). WB: Use at an assay dependant dilution. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
