Description
This protein is similar to ING1, a tumor suppressor protein that can bind TP53, inhibit cell growth, and induce apoptosis. This protein binds phosphoinositides (PtdInPs) at its plant homeodomain (PHD) domain and it acts as a PtdInPs receptor. PtdInPs binding regulates the ability of this protein to activate TP53 and TP53-dependent apoptosis.

Application Notes
IF: Use at an assay dependent dilution. WB: Use at a concentration of 2-4 ug/ml. Detects a band of approximately 33 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 32.8 kDa). Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
