Additional Information

Alternative name HSP10
Immunogen Synthetic peptide: RDGDILGKYVD conjugated to KLH, corresponding to amino acids 91-101 of Human Cpn10.
Format Serum
Isotype IgG  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Description Homologs of E. coli GroES make up a family of small heat shock proteins with an approximate molecular mass of 10 kDa (Hsp10s). Cpn10 acts as a cochaperone and interacts with members of the Hsp60 family (GroEL in E. coli) to promote proper folding of polypeptides. In chlamydia, Cpn10 is thought to interact with cHsp60, a reported immunopathological antigen, identifying cpn10 as a potential contributor to an immunological response.

Application Details

Application Notes IHC: Use at a dilution of 1/400. IP: Use at a dilution of 1/100. RIA: Use at a dilution of 1/100000. WB (colorimetric): Use at a dilution of 1/2000. Detects a band of approximately 10 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 9.9 kDa). WB (ELC): Use at a dilution of 1/5000. Detects a band of approximately 10 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 9.9 kDa). Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
